And $80 games? Yuck.

But $450 console? Not the worst.

Saw the cyberpunk stuff from the direct. If that's what it will look like then it looks better than I was expecting

Mario kart world is interesting. It's not just that it's an open world driving game, but that the courses are the drive between different locations. It's fully defined courses exactly like you'd expect from mario kart but they don't make a loop.

Then once you get to the course the race just continues. It's as if the first lap is the drive there.

i like that the courses aren't loops but this isn't really "open world" to me.

you can see from the map how limited your ability to choose a route is.

also, if the map itself doesn't change it means that there will be less variety races.

i like the mode though.   i won't be able to play it with my kids though.   they will totally get knocked out in the first check-point and be mad about it.

It has true free roam too, but it sure looks empty.

Also I'm on to donkey kong. Man does he look weird.
