Reprojection moves from VR to esports

Pretty cool. I don't see how would work as good as their example on the edge of the screen since anything could be off screen, but it'd certainly be ace at filling in the area around moved characters.


I hope this finds its way back into vr. Super high quality reprojection like this could really do wonders since there's no real limit. Get it fast enough and latency could be incredibly low.

Also infill could be pretty useful for reflections. Everything is moving towards raytracing but just imagine this used for screenspace stuff. Reflections off the edge of the screen and reflections behind things could be perceptually perfect, even if they are reflecting fake things.
