Is Valve making a game console?

People think valve is trying steam machines again. Hot air or actually going to happen?


I could see it after steamdeck. That was a huge win for them and a console is a good follow up.

an obvious move and a big reason why Sony is dumb AF to keep porting to steam.  if they want to be on PC the should get a PC wing of their PlayStation store front.

Yeah it'll be funny if valve ends up losing Sony billions down the road.

Sony has been so short sighted the past few years. Microsoft hasn't been that good at execution, but their moves at least mostly make sense.

It makes sense for Microsoft to port things to PC. It supports their windows business. The more windows users the more Microsoft makes money

Sony doesn't get that benefit. How they don't see steam as a competitor I don't know. They should make their own PS Store on PC and try to take away from the market share of steam, instead they are supporting steam and PC as a platform in exchange for short term, low investment profits on their first party.
