Which "everyone disliked that" games from notE3 will find success, and which will flop?

Please let me know if I missed others, but Concord and Dragon Age The VeilGuard both had a really bad reception. Both games might be a lot of fun to play but practically no one seems to like their visuals and presentation.

So even though it's super early and it's just uninformed speculation, how do you expect each of these games to do?

Dragon age depends on it's gameplay and story. If those are good people will get over the visuals pretty quick. Heck we haven't seen gameplay yet, have we? People might end up liking the visuals.

Concord.... I don't know, it could end up being a hit, Helldivers was a very unexpected hit for example. But it needs to be really good. Helldivers was really good. But honestly, I see it flopping

dragon age reminded me of saints row.   the franchise is "big" but not that big.   the "core fanbase" seems mad and if they don't buy the game it seem very unlikely to me that the changes are going to do anything to create a new audience.   i'm going to go with flop for dragon's age.

concord is harder to guess.   on the one hand i've criticized sony's GaaS plans and likely to fail because most GaaS games fail.    the initial response isn't helpling...     ...that said no one thought helldivers would succeed before release.    ...and if concord follows the same monetization as helldivers (aka ruining the game).    ...and the core gameplay is really good like with helldivers.    ...well than maybe it will be a decent success.   i was looking at the pre-order numbers yesterday while mulling over which version of astro bot to buy and the pre-order numbers are surprisingly not the worst.   i still think failure is more likely than success but i think it has a better chance than DA right now.

the new clip of DA gameplay seems to be much better received.   maybe DA won't flop afterall.

Yeah the game might look a lot nicer during gameplay when the camera isn't so close to people. I hope it looks good tomorrow.

The trailer kind of had a goofy vibe on top of everything that was going on, between some of the overlays, the music and some of the scenes they were showing.

Kind of felt like marketing was trying to reach the Overwatch? crowd or something, and not the people that normally buy Dragon Age games.

Actual game looks very solid.
