Are there any game biases you have, that don't make any sense?

I'm struggling to come up with a title for this one. So let me explain what I am meaning.

Do you have any biases either against a style of gameplay despite liking similar games before, or biases for a style of game despite not liking similar games before?


When I look at games like Diablo and Hades, where you have tiny protagonists that are practically hard to see on the screen, I have an immediate feeling that I'm less interested and not going to like this style of game.  




I feel this way despite liking and even loving plenty of games where you mostly control tiny characters.

I don't like FromSoft games. I should love them, they do so many things I champion for, yet I have zero interest in having to die over and over just to progress.

Outer Wilds is one of my favorite games ever and in that one you die over and over, but I like it there.
