Brought up an interesting point that seems obvious in hindsight.

"Real" worlds like this aren't fun if played like a traditional game so I've stressed over Hapax's opening a lot. How the heck do I communicate to players that things need to be approached like a real life situation?

Geller however brings up how fun it is to realize a world is "real" on your own. Hapax is small enough that players should be able to mostly figure things out for themselves. Unlike Forged Odyssey, Hapax can casually transition from what the player expects to what the game really is.
