The obsession with large vehicles is dangerous

- higher vehicle front ends are creating huge blind spots in front of vehicles
- also makes crashes more dangerous
- current large vehicles are carrying less at higher cost
- there are far fewer safety regulations for suv/light truck class vehicles.

oh joy, another culture war to fight!

i can't wait for republicans eliminating all regulations in response screaming its their "constitutional right" to drive a car that is 12 feet wide even those lanes are only 10 feet wide.   i expect mounting guns on the front/rear bummer will be a thing too.

And they have like no advantages. They're getting worse at carrying capacity than older trucks.

They're just getting bigger and dumber.
