The conference is very different.
Sony/Nintendo/MS's are in a very different position from Oculus Rift.

OR's goal is to sell something that really for the most part has to be experienced.  It's not easy to just show people what VR is like.  They are trying to show something that can't really be shown.

The second difficulty is that OR is not in the same position to show games.  Sony may very well show games that have been in development for 3 or 4 years.  Essentially even longer than OR has been around.  That's hard to compete with.

The conference has a lot inherently going against it, they are doing an okay job.  Not great, maybe not even "good" but this is the conference that probably should've been expected.  (Actually this is more games than I expected.)

I give the conference the middle finger. Will that show up in my virtual reality avatar?

So it doesn't fall off.

I give the show a solid B.

All XBOX One games support OR!!!!

They aren't 3D, and you just play them in a virtual theater, but they support OR!

Probably the same reason why the Wiimotes had straps. For some reason, those things remind me of castanets >_<
