Smaller announcements and things like this are shown before the show.

Well I believe it was confirmed that Hellblade will not be at Sony's conference so I'm hoping that with this Ratchet & Clank trailer it means that they're either not showing that as part of the conference because they have other things to talk about or they'll give us an even better trailer. I'll be a little upset if they show us the same trailer they just revealed with less than a week until the conference.

Yeah no. Very rarely do we see old trailers haha.

What happened today was basically at least a small Sony conference in terms of announcements:

R&C trailer, gameplay and $40
Tearaway Unfolded new gameplay
Hellblade trailer
And SFV was apparently just confirmed for March 2016 in a magazine.

God those next few days are going to be so hard.

gamrConnect Forums - Croatian Retailer Opens Preorders for “Gran Turismo Sports”

Quote

A Croatian electronics retailer has published a new listing for a game called "Gran Turismo Sports" and is now  accepting pre-orders. For its placeholder image, they appear to have  created their own "Gran Turismo 7″ graphic.

Typically, this type of listing is nothing to get excited about –  online stores often begin accepting pre-orders and publishing incorrect  release dates for games years before they're officially announced, in  hopes of attracting links and attention.

However,  things are a bit different with this company, Sancta Domenica. They  have an exclusive agreement with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and  are the sole importer of PlayStation products in the countries of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Their use of the name "Gran Turismo Sports" is also interesting.  Notorious Gran Turismo insider Amar212 – who is also based in Croatia  and runs Croatian GT fan site GTSurgeons – first teased the "Gran Turismo Sport" name in a post on NeoGAF last month.

Although it would be quite a departure from tradition for Polyphony  Digital to drop the number "7" from the name, it may be an effort to  differentiate the title, indicating the game might be headed in a  different direction or may include motorcycles, as was inferred from the Isle of Man news that hit last year. We'll just have to wait and see.

Wait, so Gran Turismo Sports basically Sony's "Forza Horizon"?

Personally I have no clue why people are thinking big things have been shown pre e3.

R&C is a small game based off the movie that we've known about for years. The trailer wouldn't have been that great at a conference. The gameplay which most people care about, was leaked.

Tearaway was new gameplay of an old and already shown area of the game. That demo is ancient. It was them building hype for E3, not an announcement or reveal itself.

Hellblade is a smaller game.  Could have thrown that video in the conference, but it's 50 50.

We already knew the SFV date for all intents and purposes.

Maybe, kaz did say something about an open world version way back before horizon was even known about. But I think it's more to do with multiple types of racing from karts to street bikes than something like FH.
