The CEO doesn't have much involvement in the development of the game though, if any though. Losing staff is never good but I don't think it is necessarily a sign of the game not doing so well.

I feel cartoonish post apocalyps games are overdone actually.

Splatoon, pikmin, kingdom hearts, sonic,  ratchet and clank, star fox, epic mickey, jak and daxter, etc.

Yeah. Splatoon is more niche than anything there. Except maybe Rage but that's just because the game isn't good.

Hmmm I don't know if I'd say that Jak was post apocalyptic, nor would I about Kingdom Hearts.
