The movie will have a definite impact on Battlefront sales. The closer we get to the release the more the marketing for both will pick up and feed off of each other. Especially considering Battlefront has free DLC based on the movie. Then there's the fact that this game has been hyped enough just from the idea that it was a game many people wanted and almost didn't get. Plus, it's a Star Wars game being made by a studio well known for making good combat games.

yeah, the movie is gonna make the game huge, and if the game is good its gonna be a really big deal. if the movie and the game are good, then we might see numbers above the 15 million for the game.

"ohh emm gee, that movie was SOOO good! and chewbacka!! may the force be with you!" and shame like that, they see a starwards battlefront game ads while walking in the mall, and BAMN! you got your sale. you can bet your dog that Sony is gonna make an official bundle with this, and they should make an advertisement of it before the movie starts.

great about dying light sales, we could assume its around the 4 million mark, which is pretty great sales. man do zombie games sell. it was a fun game, and i hope the next one is a lot better, they can improve a lot. story wise it was MUCH better than dead island, but still not really good. they are improving with their games, and i hope they improve more on the day/night cycle thing they had going on.

i didnt really expect this game to sell honestly.

Im also adding in digital since first week digital looks to be over 30k so maybe it hit 200k.
I'm not sure sorry for the misconception since gaf made it sound like 200k possibly.


So it sold 145k retail first week
Maybe digital will push it closer to 200k
(like 180k perhaps).

It's still a respectable hardware boost for the Wii U. The problem is that it can't be sustained beyond a week or two, which we saw with XCX.

Sorry guys the new shipment on may 30 was part of the first shipment when I and some others thought it was a 2nd shipment.
Nintendo/Retailers need to ship more.
