Not sure what to make of this. I mean I'm happy that he's stepping down because he has been a terrible president, but at the same time, people are going to vote in another corrupt person.

I think its time for someone new. The majority at fifa aren't corrupt, odds are his replacement won't be. This is good news all round

I really hope it's good news. I don't follow soccer/football that much, but after hearing about the arrests, I delved into the matter and was appalled by the terrible things FIFA did over the past decades. The situation with Qatar depresses me.
