GTA V..  Im replaying the missions to get the golds, the last trophy needed for plat.  It comes down to something that is so fudgy basic.  restarting.   you can replay the mission after its done, you get retries when you die or miss checkmarks etc,  but they wont give you a restart option.   Plus, some missions require a no contact or dents etc in races.  you need to completely leave the mission in order to restart that counter, which takes reloading the single player.  and that doesnt even get into the AI crashing into you.

plus they have missions that have time constaints, but when you reload it to replay it, you start on foot, rather than in a car like you would have in the mission, so its handicapping you from the start

if only you played a game for fun instead of for trophies, you would have had A LOT more fun with your games

Yeah I agree. I've never gone for trophies in GTA V and I have an absolute ball with it. One of the best games of all time for sure

Not always, in single player games where the isn't too much to do trophy hunting gives you some more things to do and prolongs your playtime. Which is a good thing if you like playing that game. In GTA V's case there is a ridiculous amount of things to do and endless fun if you get a group of friends together, no need to trophy hunt.

Yeah you can do that but if you love that game and want an excuse to play more of it then trophy hunting is a fun thing to do.

trophies can be fun to   i just hate little things lol    I would be playing witcher 3 but i had to opt for kids dental work over getting it    and since ive beat everything else i own i figure might as well plat the game lol  most of which has been fun, i just really dont get the lack of retry   and might as well vent

Nah GTAV still has issues with time management.

Should at least have a skip option for half of the campaign. I just want to play!
