finally diving into gta online.    its pretty fun so far, although i havent done much besides armed robbery/murder with a fast getaway lol gonna be a long road to platinum

although so many small design decisions in how you get into things is stupid.  you cant set up your own session if you are already in an online game.   if you leave it idle and it boots you, when you come back itll just pop you into an online session instead of asking where to put you,  so if you dont want you be in a random session your forced to sit through the loading of the thing you didnt want, then more loading to get out, all before you can even start setting up what you want to do.

ugh why is it so hard toput a fudgy prompt asking what you want?  and why is it so hard to implement abort features for connecting to things

yea early period over, so far online is terrible.   why has the ai taken a complete fudgy nose dive?   im driving around and a car swirves across 3 lanes onto the wrong side of the road (on a highway)  just to hit me.. like wtf? also im in a highspeed chase with the cops, and some random car decides to turn vigilante and was with the cops trying to crash me..  he wasnt another player though because there wasnt anyone in the game...     and im doing this mission where i have to repo a car that a guy is driving around.. apparently you can only kill him by shooting, there is NO other way to stop the car,  i had him roll 8 times off a cliff and land upsidedown,  he just flips over and drives away..   maybe i wouldnt mind if it actually put someone else into the job with me,  as i imagine is alot easier if the second person can shoot while the first guy drives..  idno it was retarded.  he wasnt even driving slow, he was driving at 100mph the entire time.

theres also no mission retry.. well there is, you just need to wait.  if you fudge up you have to do other stuff  and hope it comes up again soon.  you can also end up being in the city with no jobs on your phone and having to wait.  it doesnt take long, but the simple fact that you have to is dumb as shame.  (never mind, i found replay. but its based on everyone voting.. i still dont really like how the mission set up is though..)

Using cheats makes the game feel pointless and not fun when playing alone, and not using cheats makes the game take way too long to play for me.

I used cheats when I played VC and SA on PS2 - and enjoyed the game.

I didnt use the cheats on GTAIV mainly cause of achievements. When I will play GTAIV again in the future I will use cheats this time :3.
