Yeah, let's see.

XB1 price then: $500
XB1 price now: $349 with games

PS4 price then: $400
PS4 price now: $400

And yet, PS4 is down by even less than XB1. I call that amazing

I don't really understand his post. Ethomaz says he expects XB1 to be down yoy, which is a reasonable prediction when it's down already without the price cut effect in the 2014 numbers

His comment is baseless too because when I wrote the that comment we just know the MS PR (that hinted to a worst March than last year)... no PS4 number or Sony PR yet... and I predicted Xbox One to track down in US after March.

To be fair I don't expect 2015 to be bigger than 2014 for Xbox One... I don't expect this year to have a $150 price cut in the whole year... and the Holidays sales won't be strong like 2014.

My expectations are in line to see Xbox One down yoy and PS4 down yoy unless Sony give us a price cut in August/September.

Yesssssssss... price cut > big games in this case... MS dropped a lot last year to reach the sub $350 price point for holidays.

Down yoy, but up that one month.
It basically saw a massive price cut last year.

uh, yeah? Unless MS goes all in again and cuts price massively and bundles Halo 5 with another game and the console.

I think you guys are underestimating Halo 5's potential.

If it's well received and makes up for all the failings of MCC and 4, then XBO could easily be up YOY

Not unless they also cut price or do crazy deals. Halo is not a game that pushes the console for many weeks. It's more like a 2-3 week bump

Maybe in Europe that was the case with the 360, but here Halo is bigger than COD.

Plus MCC was an extreme disappointment. For most fans, this is the first Halo on next generation.

Wat. Halo hasn't been bigger than CoD for years. If Sony really grabbed CoD marketing (which I do doubt) I'd say Xb1 has almost no chance of being up

More concentrated, sure but don't think its bigger.
