Total shipments for all three versions of Yo-Kai Watch 2 (Ganso, Honke, and Shinuchi) have topped six million, publisher and developer Level-5 announced.

The number includes both retail shipments and download sales.

Yo-Kai Watch 2: Ganso and Honke launched for 3DS in Japan last July. Yo-Kai Watch 2: Shinuchi followed in December.

Last week, Level-5 announced that total sales across the series topped seven million. This coming Tuesday, April 7, Level-5 will host its annual Level-5 Vision press conference (which will be live streamed), where it's planning to announce its latest Yo-Kai Watch developments, including Yo-Kai Watch 3.

That makes me hope even more that Level 5s PS4 project is comparably successful in Japan and that that's the thing they called bigger than Yokai Watch. Imagine the PS4 getting such a huge franchise in Japan this year. :O

there is suppose to be a big game according to famitusu coming to nintendo consoles that can boost hardware like mario(it hasnt been teased or announced so it isnt yw3).

Can you link that Famitsu article? Anyway the announcement for the Level 5 Vision said that it will announce their "next generation major cross media project", I'm assuming that is their PS4 game and that they decided to show it earlier than planned.

Capcom having a big MH event later this month
Big hardware booster coming to nintendo consoles
This month is gonna be amazing for people who love japanese games.
