Hater speak is seeking out negative news for the system and company. The way you talk about it extensively makes it seem as though you enjoy it. Tell me, when you fap to negative nintendo news, do you prefer to use your right hand or your left hand?

It's pretty obvious you take pleasure in seeing some form of meltdown when you post something in a nintendo thread.

But I'll end this here because it's clear this topic is about Zelda, and not your own distaste for the system it's on. Plus I don't like debating with someone who can't admit when they are wrong.
that is one of the stupidest thing things I've read. What's more likely is that your feelings are broken due to this news

No I honestly don't care about the delay. Coming from the hierarchy of the Zelda fanbase, I can say that if they want to make it a good game, they can make it a good game.

It took me nearly a year to beat the first Xenoblade game with my schedule, so I'm fairly certain I can hold out for a good while. I was upset when it was delayed to 2014, but at this point I've waited long enough that waiting a couple more months to a year won't bother me.

It's business. The pros would greatly outweigh the... Wait there really aren't any cons to releasing a new console

Man, when did you become a Nintendo fanatic!?

You say there arent any cons for releasing a new console, wonder what happened to the WiiU  when it was first released ::)

Con 1: Zero or shaming Third Party Support - with company CEOs and PR blasting Nintendo for abandoning the WiiU early.

Its gonna be worse than what the WiiU has now. 1st year we'll see some shaming ports of PS4/Xbox One games (i.e. Mass Effect 3 was released on WiiU but Mass Effect Trilogy was released on PS3 and Xbox360 within a range of 1 year).

Its gonna be funny when Nintendo fails to draw again.

If they do release a new system next year - hopefully it wont have a gimmicky control like the "Gamepad" or the Wiimote but I have a feeling its gonna be worse l0l.

i prefer wii u fanatic. And it was before launch when it was obvious wii u would not follow wiis footsteps. Remember all the raving lunatics on the chertz that bit people's heads off if you thought Wii u wouldn't be a success? They have all for the most part vanished but there are still a few lingering around.

Con 1. I doubt any company would blast nintendo for ditching the wii uu. I would bet it would be universal praise. These people want viable platforms to release their game on to make money.

I agree, with ditching the gimmicks. I have played games since the NES and have always played on a traditional controller. Sure button layouts were different for each console but they are the best input for gaming. Since they are the best then they are the most enjoyable.

Con1: the core consumers could lose faith in Nintendo. Most of the people who own a wii u are big fans. If they feel the wii u is a dissapointment from a games perspective, then they're more likely to jump ship. If NX is boss then it doesn't matter, but ifNX is middle of the road in sales/support, then these core fans aren't coming back. Only way killing the wii u early isn't a conis if Nintendo quickly demonstrates the wii u was a fluke.

Also I like gimmicks, just cheap gimmicks. The touchpad and lightbar are great on the DS4.

you need a core consumer before it becomes a con. 1. No core consumer. 2. People who bought it for the games they bought have already bought the games. 3. People don't give a shame about the Wii u or even know of its existence so wouldn't mind it going the way of the dodo

shocking news. Cross-gen release

Yeah the lack of anything at E3 is the big reason to think that. The game was supposed to come out within 6 months of E3. Unless the game is flat out broken and is being redesigned because of that, they should have new and exciting things to show. Even just a short trailer or whatever.

By hiding the game, it looks like the game has some fundamental things they do not want us to know about until next year. Really the only thing that fits that scope would be NX.

It's just incredibly similar to the gamecube zelda.

1. That's just stupidly ignorant. Nintendo has millions of core consumers.

2. Expand this to the PS4. If all announced games were released and then the system was discontinued, would you be happier than if the system had a long lifespan with tons of still unannounced games coming years down the road? Of course not. With many people already feeling let down by the wii u, an early ending just adds insult to injury.

3. Yes.

I've been saying for a long time that the Wii U successor will come holiday 2016 if the Wii U didn't turn it around. The Wii U failed miserably at a turn around, so a new system makes tons of business sense. Nintendo just can't throw out the Wii U at the same time. Give it NX ports for a year and then give it at least another year of digital ports and scraps.

I thought we were planning to move off this subject?

Or do you just obsess over the system so much that you can't resist?

The lack of showing anything from the last build reminds me of this honestly

^ This game never came out and we got Wind Waker instead. They could probably use the same excuse and say "Oh it was just a test demo of the visuals". But ya more than likely its gonna be a cross gen game if Nintendo releases their new system next year.
