Then should we also remove tearaway unfolded?

The original Tearaway had a retail release. Elite has never been in retail form.

There is a precedent for one title and not the other. Tearaway received a retail release on Vita. Tearaway Unfolded is the original plus 50% more content and improved visuals with new mechanics. It's also being made by one of Sony's top studios. Not a third-party indie developer in which their game was not originally made available for retail and has yet to be announced as such. With that in mind, one makes far more sense than the other. Tossing Elite onto that list is far more speculation than nearly every game that is also on that list. I really feel like it was placed there because reasons. Let's not get into some stupid debate when you know dang well what the difference is. If Elite is to be included when it's only been digital so far with no retail announcement then don't half-dog the list. Get the other games that are thus far digital-only.

No I was the person that put Elite there, and the reasons are because it looks like it'll have a retail release.

Elite is made by Frontier Developments. Sure they used kickstarter instead of a traditional publisher, but their company has been around for over 20 years and they have over 200 employees. They are the same developers who just made Screamride for XBOX, which got a retail release. Their game before that was Zoo Tycoon for XBOX, which again got a retail release. Their game before that was Kinect Disneyland adventures, which again got a retail release. Their game before that was Kinectamals, which again got a retail release. This just keeps on going. Outside of a few 99 cents apps, every game Frontier has developed has also had a retail release. With Elite: Dangerous being a full $60 game and their track record with Microsoft, the probability of a retail release is extremely high.

Meanwhile Tearaway Unfolded is essentially an HD port of a game that cost $40 and took 12 people to make. I think it'll get a retail release, but being download only wouldn't be too shocking.

is the list just retail games?

Well it was "big" games, but then things switched up.

So...what now?

Bloodborne, Ratchet & Clank, Disgaea 5, and Persona 5 (if it releases this year) are plenty for me to say PS4 has my preferred lineup. That's not to mention Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD is a bonus. If God Eater 2 gets officially confirmed as coming West I'll be even happier. It was already trademarked by Bandai Namco in Europe.

Hope they show something great at E3.

I will give Bloodborne a shot but after that I can't think of any Sony developed/moneyhatted games I am looking forward to. Maybe EGTR.
