I wish we could at least play some Steam games on the phone :(

Bioshock 1 and some indie games come to mind :(!

(Cross platform wise I mean)

Too bad Apple and Google wont allow it.
What do you mean?
Who said they don't allow it?

You really think they will let Valve release a app that lets you play games that are on their store but through Steam? I dont think they will...would of been nice. Could play some indie games while I am at lunch break or somethin ;p

They have apps that allow you to control your PC, and and send images back.
You could already play games on steam, with awful awful results at the moment.

I dont mean like that.

I mean like actually cross buy........uhhh

Purchase Bioshock 1 on Steam - get Bioshock 1 for iOS/Android as well.

Dont have to share files or anything.

Just a nice feature that will never happen cause companies want to nab that $15 and Google/Apple will have a hissy fit if people get games that can be played on their platform that easily ;p.

Oh gotcha.
That'd still be in the hands of the developers, not Valve, not Google/Apple.

Regardless I still think Google/Apple will do somethin to block to prevent loss of sales ;x

Like a contractual thing or somethin.

Nah you can do it, but it comes out of the publisher's pocket.

Also you'd have to do some complex behind the scenes things to make it true crossbuy, not just a bundle containing both versions. You wouldn't want a mobile buyer turning around and selling their steam key.

What's up with the new humble bundle?
