agree,  VR is much worse.  the cost of 3D glasses was almost reasonable per person while the cost per person for VR is going to be way higher.

I had no interest in 3D at all.
VR on the other hand is something I've been dreaming of for a very long time. 
I'm sure there are those in the same boat as me.
