Yeah, I was just being a bit pedantic, it's a lil off topic but who cares, really.

Oh and in the latest rule changes they made it so you can't ask for a perma anymore
What kind of a stupid rule is that? It should be my decision if I want to be banned permanently or not and I don't want to construct a whole meltdown just to achieve that.

But this is off topic, so let's just continue with the Order :D

Well I agree with that!

It seems like it'll be long enough to be worth my purchase at least. I just hope it doesn't become an easy target for fanboy reviewers

dang I'm tying horribly right now

the stupid rule is so that people can't see them losing members at a rapid pace. So now, you have to go quietly or cause a shame storm. In which case, they would be justified to permanently banning you and it wasn't by your choice. They chose to do it

Btw I did a little check for Uncharted playthroughs on Youtube, pretty much the first playlists for the 3 games had the games cleared in:

Uncharted 1 < 5 hours
Uncharted 2 < 7 hours
Uncharted 3 < 7 hours

So what I'm saying is that people should be careful with those playthrough lengths.

Yup, and they were at the top of the list of last gens greatest games.

I just watched the intro to the order and while I wasn't interested before I am now.
All aboard the hype train.

A lot of games can be cleared in a very short time when set to the easiest difficulty and skipping things that otherwise cause you to explore. Plus, knowing exactly where to go, what the encounters are, and how to handle them. You can make 5 to 10 minute encounters suddenly last only a minute or two. I watched someone play for the first time on hard and take an entire hour just to get through the first chapter.

Playing on hard will inflate the play time.
All aboard the hype train.

It absolutely will. Just as playing on easy will essentially deflate it.

What do you mean I can't?
I mean just that. They changed the rules

Impressions without spoilers.

Conclusion:
The Order 1886 is for lovers of old fashioned single player experiences. For those who want to see strong efforts in storytelling-focused games make a comeback. It's a highly curated museum piece for old-timey, story driven videogames, and if you cherish having a collection of finely produced games, then that's the value of The Order in a nutshell. If you're excited for a strong new IP with endless possibilities and want to see RAD put out new iterations of this level of quality, then give them the nod. I already have.

OT: 5h playthrough was on easy and a speed run. Supposedly 4 and a half of that was cutscenes according to the trolls. So good luck with a half hour game /s

If what Max says is true, it sounds like it. Because we know there is a hard difficulty. Unless he simply meant "easiest" and that is actually normal.
