Review scores are good and you know it

Providing scores is difficult though, but I do believe they have their place. 
Difficult because comparing two things can be difficult, but even more so because with numbers there's a lot more room for subjectivity.
A review can explain the ways it's being subjective, but a number by itself can't.

Eh, I don't like them. The meaning of numbers change from each site and people don't realize this. Then there is the mentality that you only buy 9+ games. Then they are determining salary bonuses on meta critic scores. I still feel bad for Obsidian being 1 point short with New Vegas. Number scores are VERY fun, but I think they do more harm than good.

They do, unfortunately there's too many chefs in the kitchen when it comes to game development.
