Yeah, Sephiroth is the hardest boss in both games.  Though he was strategically best in the first.  He was cheap in the second.

I cannot tell you how many times as a kid I had to do that fudgy level until I basically memorized every dang wall and jump. That level alone made starting the game from the beginning a pain in the dog. I managed to get to the level where you had to navigate on big snakes that would move through the stage but I never completed it. I had been trying for so long to beat the game that other games came out that I wanted to play and I never went back to it.

Shame, racing is probably my favourite genre. I love it and I'm really good at it, so its fun!

fudge battle toads. I'd rather do anything but play that game.

Me and my friend never got past that stage.  We'd give up and go play Turtles 2: The Arcade Game.  I tested it a few years ago, it still works XD.  Though I ripped the lock chip out

I was a melee tank, and he could stun-lock and kill me if I didn't dodge every single attack. Was the single hardest boss I've ever fought.
