At VGC someone said it's OOS and only sold by 3rd parties.. it's not. I have it on my cart to make it easier to check. Amazon is selling it. not OOS.

I wonder what that means for X1 Dec sales.
Now..i'm not saying PS4 will in NPD. However, looking at Amazon rankings for Dec and concluding X1 will win by a significant margin isn't very reliable
November and Dec tracking on Amazon charts had one problem. Disparity of deals..
In November, even though X1 was #1, when you looked at the entire chart, with all those SKUs it actually could look like the PS4 could win or the gap would have been a lot smaller than it actually was at NPD. This is because X1 had better deals outside of Amazon during that month, thus the chart wasn't a very good representation.
In December, we got the opposite situation. The entire month, Amazon sold X1s with 50 or (depending on the day) 70 dollar vouchers. There were no better deals (other than a few trade in programs) outside of Amazon. PS4 on the other hand had no deals on Amazon the first few weeks, and then had a decent one for a week (2 free games) but still higher priced than other deals. Such as Best Buy's 350 dollar bundles. As such, the situation is reversed and in December Amazon might not be a good indicator of PS4 sales, like it wasn't (gap-wise) in November of X1.
I'd have a better idea of what to expect If I knew what PS4 deals happened (if any) outside of Amazon before xmas week

Back then I posted how PS4 was being sold for 399.99 without even one free game.. at Amazon. Was it being sold like that everywhere? Cause if so, even if X1 demand slowed down per GAF, PS4 wouldn't have been able to pull high enough numbers to win. That's just poor value after BF and before xmas week, doubt many would bite.
I also remember checking that stock website and seeing lots of stuff OOS but then others were constantly changing..no idea how much those bundles with games were actually moving.
This one could be even harder to predict than November
