It's possible that Capcom is just trying to appease the PC crowd since they cry every time a game isn't made for them but then they don't even buy it. I imagine that some deal was made. Like I said, Sony likely isn't concerned with the game also being on PC since they probably realize PC doesn't do crud for fighting games. So rather than just pay ALL the money to make it 100% exclusive they just paid what they needed to keep it console exclusive. Why go any farther than that? It's best not to ask about Capcom's logic. A brief look back at the last 10 years should tell you they aren't right in the head anymore. What's also pretty clear is that Capcom isn't in much of a position to bargain so when a company says, "We'll pay you" they pretty much have to drop to their knees and smile like a doughnut if they want to stay in business. Dead Rising 3 and Deep Down were already examples of this.

lol.. smile like a doughnut. yeah i get your point, but for marketing purposes i would have assumed "Only on PS4" would be better. but as you said, fighting fans are kind of a niche now days, it wont matter, they will follow it and marketing wouldnt effect the sales that much.

Omg SFV being "exclusive" to PS4 is huge news. SF has a very dedicated fanbase. I do believe Capcom will bring another version to Xbox One later though

I'm thinking right now how crazy it would've been if Sony had put all the stuff they had in the summer conferences and what they'll have tomorrow in one big E3 conference.

I mean that's basically what MS did right? Aside from the Tomb Raider exclusivity thing and QB gameplay, which they saved for Gamescom.

That's why I found it cute when websites and fans decided that MS had stomped over Sony at E3. Compare the whole year of announcements/trailers and MS looks pretty sad next to Sony.
