Anyone grabed screen shoots for this yet? My phone isn't wanting to play it. And if it is exclusive that a pretty big deal.
Sure, the Neogaf thread has some: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=945721

Well at least we got something I don't care about out of the way. Hopefully will put bigger focus on other announcements

I think people are making a mistake here, this is not an official announcement, this is unfortunately a leak, why else would all the videos on youtube be deleted? This will still get as much time during the PSX keynote as it was getting before.

Well people on GAF are saying this is not the Capcom game they had heard for PSX
Either source is fake or I was right; there are two games, one is "multi plat" (PS4+PC) and the other an actual exclusive. This is what i said days before (minus the skipping X1 part)

Well we'll see, anyway aaah tomorrow can't come soon enough. :D

And people said that there wouldn't be anything big at this event... :P

Still annoyed it was leaked though.

I think it was meant for TGA, not PSX. It mentions PC version after all. When these deals get announced usually they either leave it up in the air (for later confirmation) if it's coming to other platforms or say console exclusive on PS4.
Specific mention of PS4 + PC = sounds like TGA premiere.

God the salt. It's funny when people can't take a dose of their own medicine.

yeah i am annoyed it leaked too. would have had a much bigger impact when if it was first shown during the event. i wonder why its on PC though, why just not make it PS4 exclusive if you are already making it exclusive. maybe timed?

If true this could be a bit of a blow to Xbox. The fighting game community is small but relatively tight-knit and passionate. Street Fighter is still a big deal among them and with the newest Guilty Gear being PlayStation exclusive, even if Street Fighter 5 is only timed, the community will likely gravitate to the PS4 version since it will give them more time with the game. They don't typically switch platforms once the focus platform has been chosen by the community unless there are issues with that version that are corrected on another version. There was a growing impression that Xbox was taking over the fighting game scene thanks to older titles having better connections on the 360 and with Killer Instinct having a fair amount of attention in their circle. Guilty Gear Xrd and Street Figher 5 might make sure that doesn't happen.

Well, we've seen plenty of games in the past that were on PC and console exclusive to someone. Truth is, fighting games get very little attention on PC. Competitive crowds largely avoid them since they need consistent framerates and that can get expensive to ensure on PC. It's much easier and cheaper for both the players and the event holders to just do it all on the best console as chosen by the community. So I think Sony has that in mind and isn't concerned about it being on PC as well since such an overwhelming number of the community play on a console.

yeah thats my point, why would capcom even bother with a PC version and why wouldnt sony try push to make it a full exclusive, i doubt it would have cost them much more.

It's possible that Capcom is just trying to appease the PC crowd since they cry every time a game isn't made for them but then they don't even buy it. I imagine that some deal was made. Like I said, Sony likely isn't concerned with the game also being on PC since they probably realize PC doesn't do crud for fighting games. So rather than just pay ALL the money to make it 100% exclusive they just paid what they needed to keep it console exclusive. Why go any farther than that? It's best not to ask about Capcom's logic. A brief look back at the last 10 years should tell you they aren't right in the head anymore. What's also pretty clear is that Capcom isn't in much of a position to bargain so when a company says, "We'll pay you" they pretty much have to drop to their knees and smile like a doughnut if they want to stay in business. Dead Rising 3 and Deep Down were already examples of this.
