It just takes time. Some of my fav streamers now who had 200K+ followers have said in the past they had 5-10 people watching them for like 4 month straight but they kept streaming.

Yeah, But it's crazy i didn't even get on passer by. I tried to find my own steam threw twitch and i couldn't. Even when searching call of duty.

I was going to stream LBP3 day one, but amazon screwed up my order and i wont get it till thursday now. I was really hoping i could get a few subscribers from that as people streams seem to get pretty big on day one. I hope theirs still people interested on thursday now.

Yes. This is what I made so far in 2014.

That's not bad for 240 subscribers. I mean it's nothing amazing, but if you're going to be playing games anyways, you might as well upload/stream them and make a tiny amount of money. I'll probably start streaming games when I get a PS4 using the PS4 twitch app thing. I see no reason not to.

I'm not a popular streamer by any means, but if I had to give some tips I would say:

1) Have a good and informative title. Include things like the console you're playing on and the game. If it's a multiplayer game and you're playing multiplayer have something like "Playing with viewers" in it too, that way people come in the stream, give you their PSN or w.e and you start to build some sort of relationship with your viewers and they end up following/watching your stream sometime in the future. You can have the funny/random titles later on when you have a userbase that follows you, because they know what to expect.

2) Try to stream games on release day for more exposure. For instance, DA Inquisition. If you look at the front page you can see viewers with like 10 people watching and so chances of someone seeing you are much higher. Now in comparison go look at League of Legends. You can literally scroll for hours down the current streamers list and it will keep going. So many people with 0 or 1 views, the chances of you being noticed are slim to none. When a game first releases not many people have the game, however many people are interested in seeing some gameplay. Supply/demand basically. Not a lot of supply (Streamers) but tons of demand (People wanting to watch). Obviously this can be costly buying new releases every time at full price, but if it's a game you were planning on getting anyway that you were interested in then you might as well stream it.

3) Don't get discouraged by low viewer count...There's streamers out there who have been streaming for months and months and just recently they've started to build up a community of people who watch them. If you go into streaming expecting to be averaging 50-100 people in your stream one month after you started streaming, then I got bad news for you...

4) Have a schedule, I think this one is pretty important. For instance, I know Lirik streams pretty much everyday at 12 PM. I always look forward to this and it's almost like a TV show where you know that the show will air at a certain time, so you always show up at that time. You don't need to tell people what time your stream finishes as this can usually vary, but if you give them a certain time frame of when you're going to start streaming, then this will be a good idea.

5) Have big two natural pines and a small shirt. Just kidding, but this would help to be honest...

So yeah, I don't have any experience streaming so obviously I have no proof to back up these claims, but I just feel like the above tips would help a bit. I know it's a little long lol

Oh another tip is get Twitch notifications. They're super easy and free to get and people LOVE seeing their name pop up on stream whenever they follow the stream. Even better if you give them a shoutout.
