Started the first game yesterday!  It's pretty good and I'm very interested in the lore/story, but fudge the gameplay is very dated and just doesn't feel good to me.

It looks surprisingly good for just being an up-ressed version of 360 remaster.  Very good IQ and literally no aliasing that I could tell. And the fps are rock solid too which is not surprising. Looking forward to seeing Halo 2, 3, and 4 in 1080p.

There was a message when I loaded the game about them limiting online playlists because some people were still having problems, but I think most of it is close to being sorted out.
