Yay a thread for me!

Good. I really like my boss. The pay sucks but the hours are flexible which is nice. I'm less stressed than I used to be. I think that"s bad though. With this job I should be pouring my life and soul in to it, yet for the past few weeks I've been saving a bit of my life for myself. Watched a lot of tv shows, slept a full 8 hours, etc.

This is the part where it sucks being your own boss. I NEED to work yet there are no direct negatives if I don't.




Anyway I finished cleaning my office today. Found some important papers which could save me some time. I also am in the middle of backing up all my work. I make daily backups, but now I'm backing up all those hundreds of backups themselves. Huge amount of memory to save old backups but it's awesome being able to go back and view my progress.

Yeah, I can imagine.  I'd probably be worse.  (And am with school.)

I'm facing a layoff. I'm going to be on the border, I could fall on either side of the cut. Sucks thing about it, I'm only 1 year and 2 months away from my pension.

Work is generally fine.

Recently got a decent raise, but really im still underpaid. Hopefully things change on that front in the next year or so.

Work has been really busy lately )o: not really any time to play some games at night during the work week as I have to file reports, and I'm driving around 100+ miles a day :O
decent pay and somewhat flexible hours though. I get to set my own schedule, but it takes time to set and I don't get paid for the extra time spent figuring out all this stuff

The grocery store I work at is closing down this week.  They're moving me to another store quite far away (half hour).  I'm gonna double down and start looking at teaching positions again next week.
