X1 is releasing at a cheaper price point in South Africa than PS4...and is bundled with Fifa and Forza. If Sony drops the price of the PS4 that will bring it inline with the X1 in my region.

Yes, most gamers I know (about 60 - 70) from The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany import their games from England.
Everyone of them understands English and the speach isn't f*cking up the games like ours.
I think England gets a very decent permanent boost because of it which means that the UK-market isn't that big without it.

A few weeks ago I was on a driving vacation through Europe. In Sweden at Game they had the XBOX ONE for sale already, plus all the games. It was fully advertised too. Had a sign out on the street even.

Luxembourg as another example had a huge XBOX ONE banner with Titanfall on one side and Ryse on the other. Luxembourg isn't even a teir 2 country. Switzerland, Belgium, Lichtenstein, and Denmark also all had the systems here and there in their shops.

You're probably right; sales won't go up dramatically due to it releasing in a few smaller countries. There will be some very small boosts for a week or so, but after that?

After that, nothing worth mentioning. As pointed out, most countries that the Xbox One had not officially launched in just imported it from those that had it. For those who just want to buy locally, this will be good for them but chances are they're already invested in or wanting a Wii U or PS4 instead. Plus, as you said, these are smaller countries by market size. If the Xbox One was already losing this badly in the major markets the minor ones are not going to change anything and will likely buy along the same lines with relatively the same ratios that the major markets are.
