I think they will do more but it is the big one from Nintendo unless they announces a New Wii U.

Underground GAF knew but GAF is too fast and if you miss some hours the announce already go to page 2 or 3 and you miss it.

For the OP, what's the point of me getting this 3DS?  There are advantages, but why should I get now if every single game released hasn't enticed met to get one? (I do have one, I'm just speaking hypothetical).

You will miss new releases.

Xenoblade for example... a new Pokemon is in development too exclusive to New... there others software too.

interesting,.. not sure how this will playout.  the "new every two" works great for phones but is pretty untested on consoles.  part of what i like about consoles is not needing to upgrade every year,.. that the hardware i buy today is relevant for 6 or so years.   upping the specs and giving it exclusive software is going to be very interesting to watch.  could be an amazing money generator for nintendo for infuriate existing customers.   wonder which way things will go.

Hmmmm, on the one hand this could give 3ds a nice, much needed, sales boost or it could backfire and people get angry.

Hmm, I don't think many devs will make games exclusive to the new 3DS. Wouldn't make much sense tbh
