I am, no need to worry about me  ;D

But I do need way more rest. My body was really unhappy when I tried a run the other day.

I'm still gonna worry about you.

Better now that my grandpas funeral is done. Hoping this year is a really great year after the start we had.

It's really cool having a sports watch. It's yelling at me. Says my body is only 36% recovered today lol. I haven't done any exercise, it just knows from my heart data.

But please don't worry about me!

Edt: to be fully clear, I am fully healthy outside of this temporary stuff.

Hopefully. I'm confident in 2026. Seems like it'll be a good year.

As I said in last month's thread - I'm working on losing weight so I can get back to where I was back in 2024 before my dad passed away - which was 219 lbs.

Since then my weight had catastrophically went up due to all the stuff I dealt with in the last two years - ending up as high as 250 lbs during the holidays.

This isnt just a New years resolution but I'm determined to get back in shape.

My goal isnt to just get back to where I was but to hit 200 and then ultimately be around 180 to 200.

So far I've avoided eating out and stopped snacking. I also changed up a bit of what I am eating and how much as well (mainly for breakfast since my dinner routine is unchanged).

I changed from dairy milk to non-dairy milk (almond, oat and banana with less sugar and calories) - not only that I used to drink milk in 12 oz bottles but now using 8 oz bottles which is the recommended per the nutritional label.

Also the amount of fruit I eat , my folks just crammed as much - but now limit fruit by cup size.

All in all, so far in one month starting in January, I've lost 7 pounds so currently standing at 240 pounds.

I'm also going to work out more though my work schedule (7am to 6pm) is kinda screwing me over lol but its okay, the days I get back home really late I use them as rest days while if I get back at home in time , I work out at least 20 minutes but it all depends on the dang traffic here which I can get back home in anywhere between 40 minutes to 70 minutes.

Also been working out during the weekends and have incorporated stretches.

I'll start doing strength/resistance training when I get closer to 200.
