Speaking of remakes, I watched the new naked gun. Was kinda funny. Been a very long time since I've watched a comedy like that. It's like they stopped making these movies around 2010.

The Conjuring movies - watched all of them except for the most recent one.


I know some people are turned off because of the origin of the story being tied to some people who claim they came across hauntings but honestly I would go into the movies without even thinking about them because the story is vastly different and is still enjoyable.

Conjuring series also includes Annabelle and The Nun as well.

Need to do a betting thread at some point to guess opening weekend box office and lifetime box office for it.

I'm already thinking it will be another 2 billion box office for James Cameron, but you never know.

I'm worried it'll flop. There are just so many Avatar movies in the works. Will this one be special enough?


I trust Jimmy, but oh boy just no metrics are in his favor.

I watched the new Superman.

It was actually pretty great as far as superhero movies go. Was not at all as Marvel like as I expected. Actually managed to do a few interesting things here and there, like the opening.

Superman and Lois were fine casting. I think I liked everyone else more though.

I feel like I'm becoming even more fond of it, as time goes on. 

I've watched it twice, and there are lots of great clips.
