Hey that was sooner than I thought. I expected October.

Not sure what to expect with this one critically.

Hollow Knight "only" got like high 80's/just hitting 90.

Longer development time + much, much more hype going into it, I could also easily see this being 90+.

It's not clickbait then. 8)

September???? Wow. Didn't expect that. I loved the first one. Can't wait for this. I just hope this one doesn't have crazy platforming sections to it

Yeah I just might bit and buy it at launch.

The only thing that makes me hesitant is that usually at launch games are buggy and need patches. And I'd rather wait for it to be a better experience than play at launch.

Reviewers didn't get codes.

QuoteWhy? Well, Team Cherry simply did not give out review codes to critics. This is pretty unusual, and sometimes is viewed as a lack of confidence in the game's quality, but I think it's safe to say that's not happening here. Team Cherry explained why they're actually doing this:

"[We] felt like it'd be unfair for critics to be playing before Kickstarter backers and other players," referencing the original supporters of the game back when it was just a dream. They also say that with their very small team, setting up code distribution would be more work than they wanted to take on right before launch.
