Microsoft backtracks on $80 games

Great! Outer W0lds 2 drops back to $70.

Outer Worlds* doesn't exactly seem like the kind of game that could command $80.  

The list of games I'd be willing to spend $70 on, is very short in the first place. It's mostly From Software, Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, Team Asobi and that's assuming they stay within a genre I love. I'd be fine spending $70 on a potential favorite game of all time. 

Anything outside of that, I'm waiting for sales.

Yeah $70 is a hard sell already. I'm still salty about the jump up from $60.

Death Stranding 2, Horizon 2, and Ragnarök. I think my only $70 games.

I think Horizon 2 got pushed back down to $60 because of cross gen stuff. 
Or there might have been a weird thing where the PS4 version + PS5 upgrade was $60, and the PS5 version was $70 for no reason - I'm too lazy to check right now.

Yeah only games I ever would have considered worth 80 are the Witcher 3, red dead redemption 2.... And that's it... 

And I wouldn't pay 80 for them. I'd wait till they drop.
