at 3:22 this afternoon (just over an hour ago) my switch shipped from a location about 45 minutes from me.  estimated delivery is 8:00pm tomorrow..

not that i see.   too late now anyways as it claims to be in route.   

i'm not that upset.  just not seeing how this can be in a truck for over 24 hours.   i guess i was just hoping it would arrive on the early side tomorrow.

I played 1 race on Mario Kart since I was busy on a project all day, but we will see tonight and definitely more this weekend

i got a shipping update.  i can confirm my switch is exactly 9.5 miles closer to me.  only 35 miles to go.

the expected delivery time was updated from 8pm to 1:40 pm.   i'll be working tomorrow so anything before 5pm is good enough.

Oh no prob. I tried the first level of mario wonder just to see what it was, but that was it

can confirm Mario Kart World's open world is pointless.  There are things to do like trials and stuff. Or there are targets you have to hit with shells. But other than that there is really no point to it

yeah, that's exactly what i thought looking at the trailer.  for grand prix or whatever you're still channeled onto a very linear track and the items have always been in-place as a way to implement rubber banding specifically to ensure people travel in a group.   the fun of mario kart is lost if you aren't bumping into each other.

also i think i said it here somewhere but i absolutely believe that the big areas of nothing i've heard reported are planned by nintendo so they can add in DLC later.   "$90 of dlc later you'll have a complete game".
