Didn't know it was getting a movie

Also until dawn got meh reviews. It's out.

Your Name is one of my favorite movies ever. The past few times I've rewatched it, I have had this weird worry that I wouldn't like it as much anymore.

Never ended up happening, everything still hits.

Does anyone have that with any movies?

Silence

But I've only seen it twice.

Actually kinda the opposite. Would go years without watching it, maybe the haters were right, and then every time it starts I fall in love again.

I had gotten kind of an impulse purchase a couple years ago. An anime movie that had some good reviews. Ended up being much better than I expected.

Pompo the Cinephile.
It's about someone who is becoming a director making their first movie, Pompo is the name of the producer who he looks up to.

And it was a good time.

I was recommended some anime by studio gibli that I had never heard of before, but I can't remember what it was.

Was the person's favorite movie I think, or at least very close to them. Eh, prob wouldn't have watched it even if I remembered  :P

Princess Mononoke is a big favorite.

Spirited Away is like the classic.

NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind is technically pre-Ghibli, but it's considered an honorary Ghibli movie.

studio ghibli.  princess mononoke.  spirited away.

not going so far as to say any of this is "bad".  just overrated.  far too much idolization for movies that are "fine".

Some controversial opinions:

Meet the Robinsons is underrated.  It's a good time.

Also the Robots (2005) movie is also a little underrated. Not that it's a fantastic movie or anything, but there are worse movies that are held in much higher regard.

No and maybe.

Robinsons really was lame for me as a kid. Robots was kinda cool cause I love robots.
