This has been rumored for quite a while, but supposedly coming up soon.

Hopefully it's true. Would be nice to get something besides Skyrim remasters on modern platforms.

It has been years. Outside of just the imperial city and the coast city where my vampire dude lived in a haunted house, I don't rememember any of the locations.

Rumors have been ramping up on this.

Sounds likely that there will be a reveal next month, with a release around the same time.

I hope so. I never played oblivion, so this would be like a whole new elder scrolls to me. Which would be awesome. And the. There would be the new one they are making and that's probably coming within the next few years, so it would be great to have 2 elder scrolls games within the next 4-5 years, when it's been 14 years since the last one.

not that i'm a fan of the franchise or would even consider buying this but..

...those screens are certainly more detailed but also they aren't even close to modern release standards. and more than anything i'm noticing the change in color scheme and thinking things look uglier. so tired of games being soo dark. i'm not going to congratulate you on having "realistic lighting and shadows" when half the game is bordering on unplayable because i can't see what is going on.

I'm excited for the remake, and I like a lot of what I'm seeing. But the original hard green that Oblivion had was so nice, it's really sad to see that go.

i know i'm taking out my frustration in the direction of obilvion for what is clearly an industry wide issue. i can't remember if i posted here or not but i gave up on the room 2 in frustration not so long ago. the game looks like this:

the game also frequenly features the "puzzle" of locate a secret compartment. i was playing on my steam deck so add terrible glare to the issue. anyways, i found myself too often just randomly clicking the screen in hopes i would find the active object on accident. it was frustrating and not fun and not worth trudging though to get to the fun puzzles.

It looks like an unreal engine game

Room 2 ship level was bad, but the laser one didn't have anything hidden in the dark at least.
