i mean, i don't think there is any chance that playstation and xbox doesn't also get a price increase.   the tariffs are just too high to think they can absorb them.   i think right now a lot of companies are holding back on price increases in hope that trump reverses course quickly but there if these tariffs are held in place for even just a week or two there is going to be a massive wave of price increases coming.

i think i'm going to stock up on essentials this weekend.   i really wouldn't be surprised if there is a covid like run on stuff.

i saw it posted on era.   legend is right,.. it's gross.   ..but it's also true.

$659.99 is the cost of a switch 2 where the guy that tries to assassinate trump misses and only hits his ear.   $399.99 is the price of a switch 2 if that guy didn't miss.

does anyone think the tariffs are here to stay? Markets are absolutely crashing. He will have to take some of it back I think

Oh shame dang.

I completely misunderstood it. I thought it was something like if you don't buy at 659 then you dodged a bullet. But it really didn't make sense.

Anyways, I don't think the tarrifs will really go through, I feel it's more of a bluff on trumps part. But I honestly haven't been following this much

0 push back from industry or congress who all too big of cowards to take on trump.   trump is a narcist.   he doesn't care that people are going to be crushed by this.  all he cares about is people come graveling to him for relief.  he'll keep this up forever.

the guy has been preaching about  tariffs for about 40 years now.   he's not bluffing.  he campaigned on this.

i've never understood why trump can say horrible things and preach horrible ideas and everyone is like, "it's just talk.  he doesn't believe it.  he's just joking".    ..but any other politician says good things or good ideas and it's all "they're lying cheating terrible people".   how is being the worst get you the best reputation?  where is the merit in that?
