Working to fix forum performance for good, instead of just putting band aids on it.

Tonight I tried updating php but just the very smallest update was causing serious problems behind the scenes even though it produced no errors.

well you have a better memory than me i guess. "sunday" was the only word i felt like i held in my memory so i just kind of guessed from there.

I still remember a decade ago when I wanted to train the machine on all our posts so it could actually feel like a real forum member. I wasn't big on neural networks back then though so my method wouldn't have really worked.

I tried a similar thing back then with generating pictures but the results were just copies of pics from the dataset, plus some noise.
