Digital Foundry's John had a lot of positive things to say about PS5 Pro.

It's a little interesting. It feels like people are getting more positive about PS5 Pro as time goes on.

DF was talking about how they didn't see the need for a pro device when the rumors came out, and now they're talking very highly about it.

i think most of the bad views early was sticker shock.   i think switch 2 is going to give people sticker shock as well even if it's not a $700 device,.. it's not going to be $300 either.  people have just not adjusted to the fact tech isn't getting the massive price decreases over time that it used to from moore's law.   it's part of why i question if the ps6 is even needed.  to get more we have to pay more and with graphic where they are at i dunno if it is worth it.   ps5/pro could really be good enough for another 10 years.

We are what,.. 4 years into this gen?   Ps4 is still good enough for me on like 95% of games.

So few games skip ps4 but maybe I falsely assumed it was struggling to run new games.

I have a game room and a family room both with consoles.  last Gen I had 2x PS4.   this Gen I upgraded my game room to a PS5 but I just can't justify upgrading the family room.  

I use both a lot but to be completely honest the PS4 in my family room is on more than my PS5.

I guess it depends on how you feel about game graphics.   I am mostly not bothered by PS4 graphics.   yes you can tell on a game like Hogwarts.   ....but I'm playing cult of lamb right now.   who cares amiright?

the thing I love the most about PS5 is the SSD.  I refuse to play Lego games on PS4 anymore.  they have some poor designs where you have to sit through 3x 1min+ load times.   on PS5 it drops to maybe 5 seconds.   I could not care less about the improved resolution or performance.

PS5's 'Resume Activity' Feature Apparently Gone for Good - PlayStation LifeStyle

Did anyone even use this feature? I hardly ever play PS5 so obviously I didn't but what about yall?

I used it occasionally but not often. 

in truth games cold boot so fast now that it took as long to read the activity cards to see if there was a "resume activity" card and select it. 

I like that my current game is suspended and to me that is enough.  too many games the resume or even game suspension doesn't even make sense.  anything with a login and online play really.

..but if they wanted to make this work they should have had a better UiUx.   activity card in general are dumb.  the resume activity was the only good one so it should be more of a dedicated button for games that support it.

My ps5 pro shall arrive thursday. Definitely waiting to try out Zero Dawn remastered for the pro enhancements and to play dragon age with their enhancements too.
