demo has been very well received. I think part of that is very low expectations.    also most people expected DMC/bayonetta and not sekiro/GoW which is a more appealing genre.   performance has been good.   and let's not avoid it,... naughtiness sells.

I've seen a lot of opinions change from hard pass to day-1.

Hopefully it is great and does great. I don't think I'm the target audience unless it has a great story like Nier Automata, but I want Sony to branch out more and make more "budget" story based games.

I doubt it is helldivers successful but I think it should do well enough.

the yen tanked after the rates change.  lost like 20% of its value.   aka 20% inflation on anything imported. sucks but this won't be limited to PS5 in Japan.

Isn't PS5 manufactured locally? It could be even worse for other electronics then.

I think manufacturing was all moved to China.

This gen I've gotten
2 white controllers at launch
2 black controllers
2 cosmic red controllers



Having issues with a bunch of them. In large part because of my kids playing with them.

My 4 year old daughter tried washing one of the black controllers. So it was busted. That was kind of fun. The controller would still turn on. But half the inputs wouldn't work. And then it started looping a connection to the PS5.

I can't remember what happened to the first cosmic red one.

Second cosmic red controller's down button isn't working. It seems like the inputs aren't where they're supposed to be. Sometimes if you press the right arrow a few times, it does the down action in there.

One of the launch controllers square button is getting stuck.

The other launch controller is still functional. But it looks like the left analog stick got chewed on by a dog or someone.

Just bought the second black controller. And planning to keep everyone away from it.

I might have to stock up on controllers for Black Friday.

Only had a ps4 and joycon controller break. Everything else has been fine in my life.

my ps controllers have been mostly fine.   I got stuck in Statik and after hours of trying I finally broke down and read a guide.   turns out a lot of people got stuck where I got stuck because the game requires a 100% analog press but my controllers could only report a ~95% press. 

no issues with dual shocks.  


the L1 trigger on my steam deck is broke.   means my steam deck cannot play like half my library.

Sucks with your steamdeck. Is that a common thing people have reported? My joycon was fixed for free because so many people had joystick drift.

I'm still on my first PS5 controller, but I just had that for less than a year. My last PS4 controller lasted 4 years maybe? Could it have really lasted that long? I do take care of my controllers... It eventually got drift in it's analogs but then I just got PS5
