There is no game engine underneath. This is just the AI taking previous frames and player input and generating the next frame in real time.

Will be crazy to see how fast this can be developed. It'd probably have issues with more dynamic games but it shouldn't have any issues with photorealistic graphics.


(thread title is messy but gets the point across better than something more technically accurate)

cool i guess from a tech level.   game play doesn't look smooth.   can't say i played the original though,.. maybe it was always like that.

Gameplay is like the original until stuff goes off screen. You'll notice the geometry is impossible lots of times. Turn 270° to turn around and stuff like that.

This tech for normal games will never be worth it but maybe it could eventually find a use.
