Be sure to let me know if monkey man ever uses his feet as hands. Maybe he already has in a trailer, I don't know.

Wowza. People wanted monkey game.

edt: kept growing, 4th biggest concurrent players on Steam ever. Wonder if it'll do even more tomorrow. Shinobi thinks this is mostly due to China so either he's wrong... or this is just a lunch break and it'll get even more players in a few hours.

dang. Seems like a huge success. This is on PC and PS5 right? So there is more to it's success than this

2.2 million

Not sure where these numbers came from
But a few people have shared similar figures, and it looks like ~90% of the game base is in China.

i'm enjoying it a lot. Combat is fairly fluid and it looks great. I'm not that far in though.   Its like souls games where enemies respawn at shrines and stuff like that. But they did it more like how Star Wars Jedi is.  Which I find much better as its not as punishing as souls games.

Legend

Even without China (5 am over there) it has 290k concurrent players. Would rank as the 36th highest ever game on steam just from that alone.

Absolutely incredible success from a new team self publishing.

Legend

Set another all time high. Will this momentum last long enough for the weekend to propel it past PUBG? Doubt it but maybe.

Yeah who would have predicted this game to be maybe the best selling game of the year.

China is doing a lot of heavy lifting but it's not like other Chinese games have exploded like this.

pre-release i was kind of interested in this.  back then i didn't realize this was a chinese game.   to be honest,.. i'm kind of turned off to this now.   china and russia are the twin pillars of human suffering.   don't want to support.
