It really is incredible how Sony gave up on PSVR2 even faster than Vita.

Dr. Pezus

I wonder if I'd feel sick like that. I didn't with PSVR but I didn't play any fast paced games I think

So he's saying i should buy one?

...wish it didn't need the $60 adapter to function PC.

I haven't watched the video yet, I've been busy.

Forgot I'd have to pay for the adapter. Guess I should wait for that to get bundled.

you posted a video you didn't watch!?!

...he just plays some games and says the games were fun and that he doesn't regret his purchase.

due to the price drop I spent a bit of time looking into a quest.  aside from horizon quest has everything I could think of caring about on their store and a lot more. yeah it costs more right now but at least it's not abandoned.

I dunno.  maybe I'm just a Sony fanboy for having any interest in psvr2 while none in quest.  maybe I just hate Facebook.

it puts things into perspective though.

the big thing I learned was psvr got a few games I didn't realize.   I thought moss 2 was exclusive to psvr2 but apparently not.  might just pull out the psvr again, play moss, and call it a day.

I watched it now!

Not the video I expected lol. I thought he would have bought one at launch. Crazy that it just took that selection of games for him to not feel regret.

Yeah I really want a quest. Only thing stopping me is that I already own an old oculus rift and I never use it. Is the bump in VR quality holding me back or would I never use Quest as well?

With psvr the "quality" certainly can feel "regretful".

That's a tad of the resolution not being high enough so that the screen door effect is quite noticeable.  Even moreso its that ps move is a terrible control scheme.

I'd probably be willing to play a bit more with better equipment but i'd still mostly play on a regular screen.

Honestly i would love a good quality motion controller for the ps5.   Its depressing that games like just dance have joycon support on switch but it has to be a smartphone on ps5.   Worse yet, imo, is monkeyball supports tilt controls but ps5 doesn't when there are perfectly good tilt controls in the dualsense.
