This is old.

Lion King and Inside Out 2 are both at 19 days.

I'm having a hard time comparing the two, and I'm assuming it's mostly because of how domestic vs international box offices get counted.

The Lion King reporting to reach a billion, happened before it reached a billion. All the reporting I can find is basically "it made 999m so far, it'll cross a billion tomorrow, so we are calling it official".

Inside Out 2 is at $1,014.8 million in 19 days.

I'm not sure what Lion King was at exactly.

It's also possible the question doesn't even have an actual answer due to the differences in how different regions get reported....

I'm assuming Lion King is ever so slightly ahead though.

seems like huckleberry is a big thing in wyoming.   tons of places selling huckleberry jam.

my blueberries aren't doing well so i might looking into huckleberry as an alternative to see if they grow better.    they were basically blueberries.

Yeah huckleberry is huge in Wyoming and Montana. I just got some huckleberry jam from Yellowstone yesterday.

And about Inside Out 2...
Looks like it'll finish ahead of Frozen 2, highest grossing animated movie of all time. Might dethrone Lion King 2 and really be the highest grossing animated movie of all time.

'Inside Out 2' Becomes Pixar's Biggest Movie Ever at Box Office

QuoteInside Out 2 finished Tuesday with $1.251 billion in global ticket sales, including $543.5 million in North America, where it's already the third-biggest animated pic of all time, and $708 million internationally, where is the eighth-biggest animated title ever.

QuoteInside Out 2 has yet to open in Japan, where the forecast is sunny (in South Korea, it has earned $49 million, a staggering sum that Disney believes bodes well for Japan). Throughout Asia, Europe and North America, the film is being fueled not only by families, but also by teenagers and younger female adults who grew up watching the first Inside Out, released in 2015.

Helps that the movie ended up being great.

I haven't seen it, but it seems like it's just as good as the first. People were saying it deserves the billion more than Incredibles 2.

Incredibles 2 and Frozen 2 were not that good. Glad this animated sequel is.

Lots o money. Pixar will def be fine if/when Elio flops.

If it does, how many years will it be before they greenlight another original movie?
