Dumb thing in the sky and why is the suit so loose and wrinkly? Moving past the spandex age would be cool but it needs more work.

Scooby-Doo Zombie Island blu-ray has some issues:

Took out most of Daphne's hand....

By and large it looks very good though. Aside from that weird issue.

It's kind of funny seeing people talk about Warner Archive vs Warner Home Video.

Warner Archive is held in very high regard for what they do, whereas WHV isn't.

Quotebut I'm almost certain that Warner Archive's parent company is probably responsible for this meddling, based on the boutique label's near-perfect tract record for purity.

Reviewer basically says he believes the parent company was meddling.

Paramount is putting the Spongebob movie on 4k.

Kind of funny to me how excited people are about it.

Yet the tv show is only available on dvd.

I watched Dune 2.

It was good. First half was a lot like Avatar which was funny. Liked it better than the first.

by which of course you mean that you now realize that avatar is a lot like dune since as you know the story of dune is much much older...

No it was an Avatar copy. The 1984 movie didn't present its scenes in the same way.

Although I haven't read the books so maybe this one was closer to them.

There was an era thread wondering if Portal 2 was based on Fallout, and this meme was perfect for it.

You can only have so many post apocalypse stories.

I have:
1. not read the book
2. not watched the 1984 movie
3. not watch dune part 2 (2024)

...but i've read a lot of news articles about it just because i loved part 1 soo much that i was interested.    so according to "them":

1. dune part 1 is a lot closer to to book than 1984.
2. apparently 1984 made changes specifically because they didn't think they had the technical capabilities to show parts of the story
2. dune part 2 is also a lot closer to the book but did some bigger changes than part 1 did.

so in summary, i really though avatar had a lot of Boss Baby vibes to it...

Well then why the heck have people been calling Avatar dances with smurfs when they should have been calling it Blune!?
