This was a weird one. I don't know if they were legit bots just trying to scrape data or if it was some 3rd party using them, but we had hundreds of ClaudeBots and they all started breaking the database at 11:34 PM mountain time. I have never seen the server that overloaded.

Actually took a while to figure out what was happening since I assumed something on my side was screwing up and hogging all the resources  ::)

new tech always has good and bad applications.   ...but these new AI techs have far more bad applications then good, imo.  this will likely happen to you more and more.

We need to come up with something quick to replace captchas. Absolutely no way to automatically tell a dumb human and a smart bot apart.

yeah, I don't know what to tell you other than those using bots are doing everything they can to fool you.  

it's a weapon used for cons jobs or for the destruction of free societies.
