helldivers is better but foamstars is good.

1. should have also been on PC.
2. it's a crime how slow it is to go from ending 1 match to joining the next. it's not the time in match making. it's the time informing you how well you did in the previous match and kicking you out of the mp lobby and into the "game hub". ...not even close to where you rejoin a game. it's a long walk. it's just dumb as f. ...but the core gameplay is a blast!

okay, just found the era thread. that's awesome!! it would mean:

1. i could use it to play half-life alyx

2. i could use it to do multi-media stuff

that's a huuuge value add to make the cost of psvr2 in better balance.

Wowza nice. Is this a move of desperation to increase headset sales or are they thinking of porting vr games to pc?

the tin foil hat side of me thinks that horizon isn't the last 1st party psvr2 title sony made and they are realizing that if they don't port to PC day-1 they are going to absolutely lose money on it.

Spoiler for Hidden:
astro bot recue mission remastered and astro bot recue mission 2

Sounds like a new gen rather than a pro

I'll skip it just like I skipped the pro. Don't even have my ps5 hooked up to a 4k screen

nnodley

That sounds like a good bump in specs. More than I would have expected, tbh.

So what will xbox do with series s? Make it optional for devs?

These rumored specs are so much freaking higher than series s. 4 tflops vs 33.5 tflops, that is crazy! It's a larger gulf than PS4 vs switch.

I'm on my second 4k TV heh. Why don't you have 4k yet? VRR and 4k are gamechangers for me.

more likely these high end specs don't get utilized. probably nothing more than a "high performance" mode that uses the high frame rates from performance mode and the high resolution/ray tracing from graphics mode.

it will only be noticable to digital foundry.

I have a 4k tv and a 4k computer monitor that my devkit is hooked up to. Just don't have one for my PS5. It's hooked up to a 3D tv and I don't want to lose that functionality :'(

These rumored specs are way too powerful if the only goal was to run high quality modes at high frame rates. I don't expect the specs to get fully utilized, but this sounds more like xbox one x to xbox one than ps4 pro to ps4.
