will be interesting to see how fast switch sales slow down this year and next.   switch is in the #3 slot for LTD sales already.

DS @ 154m and ps2 @ 158m.

it's going to be close.  can switch take the lead??

@Pi - went to vgchartz for the first time in forever just to check the LTD numbers for DS and ps2.   then i decided to pop into the xbox thread just to read the reactions.

lol

I still browse chartz, mostly to be involved in the political discussions. More active than here, and less strong armed than Era. They asked me to be a mod, since only like 1 other mod at the time was ever even involved in the political threads.

I feel like the mod team is pretty decent today. I'm not sure if that's how the posters view it, but I feel like they're pretty decent, seeing how they talk about things.
Although to some extent I feel like the mod team is kind of dead. They still moderate on things if something serious comes up, but they're not very active posting, and only seem to moderate if things get serious enough.

Community is small and steady I think. A lot of people have left. Some people have come back.

Isn't the PS2 number wrong? I remember it likely selling 161m or something like that. Just that Sony's own numbers weren't updated or some shame

Anyway,

Why are they using a 9 month period?

Pretty sure we don't actually know the final PS2 total.

I think Sony stopped reporting it at 155m, and I think there are estimates between 158 and 161 million units.  Hard to say exactly because I think the numbers got buried between PSP and PS3 at the time.

It's their fiscal reporting. Their's ends in March.

Botw is selling so well still.

Sold 460k since the last sales update.

Totk "only" sold 780k during the same period. Don't think it will it ever catch up.

well when i left my issue with it was overmoderation.   kind of the same problem as era.   opinions could not be expressed unless they were super happy opinions worshiping each of the big 3.    were i to express something like "MS is being stupid thinking gamepass will reach 100+ million subs" i could have been moderated.

i know i can be blunt or whatever but let the community sort it out by dogpiling me if i say something provocative instead of banning any speech that is slightly negative.    would be different if i was being mean to a specific user instead of towards a corporation...
